While the classic, standalone Google Toolbar was officially shut down by Google in late 2021, you can replicate all its best features natively through Chrome’s built-in Omnibox and customizable toolbar settings. Chrome has consolidated the tools you used to get from an extra web-browser bar—like instant search, translations, bookmarking, and autofill—right into the main interface. Chrome allows you to pin individual shortcuts directly to the top-right of your screen. This gives you immediate, one-click access to tools that mimic the classic Google Toolbar layout. Open Chrome on your desktop computer.

Click the More icon (three vertical dots) in the top-right corner. Hover over More tools and select Customize Chrome. In the side panel that opens, click Toolbar.

Use the toggle switches to turn on specific buttons so they stay visible next to your address bar.

Drag and drop the pinned buttons to change their order on your screen. How to Replicate Classic Google Toolbar Features Customize the Chrome toolbar on your device – Google Help
